The reason why my dog sleeps in a bed that is much higher than his is because he can sleep in a bed of his own. He doesn’t have to fall asleep on top of me, so he is able to rest more comfortably without having to sleep on the floor. It’s also a safer, less stressful way to sleep, as I can’t fall asleep on top of him.
