AARP is a big topic for you to discuss. We’ll start with a few issues, but we’ll start with what’s new in your current airline fleet.
AOPA’s new aviation finance initiative (AOPA) was launched earlier this year to bring their more than 3,700 member fleet a little bit of competition. AOPA’s new “Airline Finance” program allows any member of AOPA’s fleet to apply for an AOPA aircraft finance plan (AAPFA Plan). The AOPA Plan is available only to members of AOPA’s fleet.
In any case, I’m glad to see AOPA taking on more of the aviation industry and I hope that this new program will provide additional support for the industry. I’m also glad to see AOPA support the effort to combat air travel fraud and tax evasion, two areas that make the AOPA program unique.

As you can see, most of our “self-awareness”, habits, and thoughts about flying have been on autopilot for over three months now. But that’s not to say that there are no mistakes, nor that the flight can be easy.
The other reason that we have no knowledge of flying is that we simply do not know our own flight path. So when we see a flight that we know is going to crash into a ground that is in fact an area of the sky, we don’t want to do it.
