Our team consists of three full-time writers, a marketing consultant, and a few freelancers who write for us on a freelance basis.

We’re not a big agency, though, and so I don’t think it’s something that we’re going to encounter.

So, what exactly is a marketing consultant? According to the job description, a marketing consultant is “an independent consultant who utilizes his or her experience and knowledge to serve businesses and organizations in ways that are most beneficial to them.” Sounds like a really great job to me, especially with a few perks like health insurance and a pension. In reality, though, it’s not for everyone.
As with most things in life, if you aren’t a professional yourself, then you’re just going to have to take on the role of a consultant for other people. For many consultants, this is their first foray into the world of marketing, so it can be hard to get the hang of. You have to be able to quickly pick up and use the skills you’ve learned.
