The question of whether artifacts have “summoning sickness” or not is one that has been debated for a long time in the WoW community. It’s an issue that many people seem to care deeply about, and it can be hard to find a consensus on either side among players. In this article, we will look at both sides of the debate and try to determine what is true. For a long time, it was believed that artifacts did not have summoning sickness. The reasoning for this is straightforward: most of the artifact weapons are shards and shards do not have any form of “summoning sickness.” When these were first revealed to be coming in Battle For Azeroth (in 2017’s BlizzCon), many players theorized that they would also not suffer from this problem. But as more information about how artifact power works has been revealed over the past year or so, we now know differently–artifacts DO have some kind of version of summoning sickenss and there may even be two different versions. The idea behind both versions seems to come out because WoW doesn’t want people with high-level characters running
