Another thing to remember is that if you are not ranking in Google (and you should be) then you are not going to be able to get any traffic anyway. If you want people to visit your site, it has to be a good search engine. So if you want to rank, your first step is to increase your search engine ranking. This is important because ranking in search engines is as important as the quality of the content.
Some businesses have figured that out. They buy a search engine. The seller hires an SEO firm. The SEO firm hires a website designer. And the website designer hires a web designer. Then Google comes up with the search engine adverts. Most searches are now driven by the results of Google. If you have your website’s content and links to other websites, you will rank high on Google.
Engine ranking is one of those areas where a lot of different approaches can be used. If you hire a consultant, you will be able to work with a variety of different marketers to find the best approach for you. If you hire someone who is a web designer, you might be able to work with a designer who knows how to write well. But the key here isn’t just how good your website is, but how good your marketing is.
Its all about your content and your content marketing. Its also about doing a good job of getting your website to rank high on search. You want to get your top ranking sites to link to your website. That means getting the right content, the right keywords, and then linking to these sites.
A great way to do that is to link to your website from other sites, and to do this you want to make sure that your website is being linked from a high authority site (e.g. a page at a major tech or financial website), that your website is in the top four of the search results for your keywords, and that your site is also on a major site like Yahoo, Google, or Bing. This last part sounds obvious, but it is a tricky one.
